Mom's got a website!

You know the Internet has hit mainstream when my Mom has her own website. It's for a small business she is running doing Biofeedback. It's been a great miracle in her life and is a great way for her to share it with others. Check it out.

Heart wreath

My sister told me about this adorable wreath that she made for Valentines day last year. When I saw it I totally wanted to make it too. Here it is...

Here is a picture of it on my (ugly) door. (Corom and I bought a gorgous new door that happens to be sitting in our garage waiting for our "remodel" whenever we get around to it!)

If you want to know how to make it go here. I made one with 3 of my crafting friends so I cut 4 yards of 3" circles! After cutting a few circles by hand, I broke down and bought a circle die cut from stampin up. Wow did that make life so much easier!!!

Baby blanket

I saw this material and fell in love with it! I knew this is what I wanted to make Kaybrie's baby blanket out of. It turned out super cute. You can't see but I actually stippled (a cool way of machine quilting the blanket) it too myself. I have always wanted to stipple and this summer I learned how to thank to my amazing sewing friend Sara!!!

Attempt at a photo shoot

On Saturday I attempted to take some decent shoots of Malik and Kaybrie. Hence the word "attempt"!!! One day, maybe I will get one of those pictures that you can blow up and hang on your wall. But for now, I have settled for paying someone to do that. Here is the result of my attempt. (At least the kids are cute in the photo!)

Kaybrie 9 months old! (WOW were did the time go!!!)
Malik will be 5 year old next week! (another WOW!)

Advent calendars

This year I have seen so many fun ideas for advent calendars. I surprisingly resisted making them, I think mostly do to lack of time. But I definitely don't need more advents. So I will share them with you.

Maybe next year I can add a few of these to my collection!

Zia putting on a hat

Wendy let me hack into her blog to make this post of Zia putting on her hat. Shem helped with the captions. :) Enjoy, Ruth

From Wendy...

Ruth is my amazing Sister-In-Law. She is the one that takes the cutest pictures of my children! Shem (her husband), Corom's brother did the captions. Thanks so much I love it!!! (F.Y.I. She is so dirty because we were camping!!! But then again she is Zia and she always has food on her face!) That is why we call her "Our Messy Girl!"

"Boy my head is hot, but I'm loving this feeling of yogurt on my face."

"I know, I'll take off my hat...Uh oh...maybe that wasn't a good idea."
"How do I get this thing back on?"
"Maybe if I come from behind..."
"Or maybe I should twist it on."
"If I could just get my fingers underneath..."
"Forget the hat, I look super cute without it anyway."

My sister-in-law came over yesterday and took some photos of our family and Kaybrie. Here is one of them.

I bought this basket when I was pregnant with Zia. I always wanted to get a newborn picture of Zia in it, but that never happened. So I am excited to atleast have one with Kaybrie in it!
