I have a group of friends that get together every month and do craft projects with. Last month we made these cool flowers by following a cool technique that we saw at a stampin up event. (I for the life of me can not remember what the technique was called.)
But here is one of the cards I made with one of the flowers. I made this card for my mom who has always loved peach colored roses. I am really pleased with how well it turned out! Mom I am thinking of you and hope you are doing well in Africa!

Here is another card I made from the stamp set Animal story. It seems like it is missing something but here it is anyways.
I have some amazingly talented crafty friends and we had a manly card challenge. First of all I realized that I don't have any "manly" stamps so after borrowing this stamp set I was able to come up with this. And I was very pleased to stay the least.
Sorry it has been so long I feel like I have fallen of blogging world. I just haven't been able to get back into it after Hawaii and the swine flu. Not to mention that my son isn't taking naps anymore. So here is my first attempt at getting back into it. (Leah this ones for you :)!)
Here is one of the prizes that will be given away at our Relief Society birthday social. This is one of the 4 versions like this that I made. It is a box like bag that holds 3 cards and envelopes in it. I thought is would be cute after the cards are gone to but treats in after the cards are gone!
I have been very busy preparing for this event that I haven't had much time to spend on crafts.
At first I didn't like this card, but after I played around with it and added glitter to the giraffe I love it! The alphabet stamp is a wheel stamp called nursery alphabet. I have seen so many cute this done with it. Most of the wheels I don't really like but this one I do! The colors I used chocolate chip, so saffron and whisper white.
Here is some cards that I made with Botanical blooms (one of Stampin up Sale-A-Bration). I liked these cards because they make me think of spring. I used perfect plum, pale plum and certainly celery. I posted both of them because I could not decide which one I liked better.
Here is today's cards. I have had a crazy week. But I am hoping to get started making cards again. It is so simple but yet I really like it! I used the new stamp set Cheep talk with kiwi kiss, chocolate chip and so saffron.
This card was fun. I have had Stampin ups watercolor crayons for awhile now and I have been wanting to try this technique (where you color the crayons right onto the stamp then spray with a fine mist of water and stamp). So here it is! It was quite easy and fun. I used summer sun, chocolate chip, always artichoke and certainly celery. The stamp set is Inspired by Nature and French script.
This is going to be our invites for our RS birthday social. I think I over did it!!! I just got this new stamp set Trendy trees. I really like it though. I used ridinghood red, pumpkin pie, old olive.
Today's card I used a stamps from Simply said, sincere salutation, french script and polka dot. I guess you could say that I love Stampinup's polka dot! I used it a lot! It will be sad when they retire it. I used Riding hood red, old olive and chocolate chip paper and ink. For the glitter I used the diamond stickles.
Today's card is birthday card for a little boy. I think I was inspired by this card because of Malik's 3rd birthday! I don't think you can see it but down in the right hand corner it says "driving by with a birthday hi!". I used the By Land stamp set from Stampin Up. The paper and inks are not quite navy, old olive, riding hood red and so saffron. Enjoy!
I am going to try to make one card a day. We will see how long I can keep it up! I think it will be a fun challenge! Thanks to my birthday money I have a some fun new stamp sets coming any day now. So stay tone for more. Here is my 1st one. I used Flight of the Butterflies and Polka dots stamp sets with Pink pirouette, black and white paper and ink.
Here are pictures of what me made at my Stamp Camp for February. There are 3 card and the others are pouch/box, cute bag and a treat holder (M&M's). I used the Love You Much stamp set on all but one which I used Simply Said on.
This is my favorite! I plan on putting cookies in here and giving it out as little valentines gift!
