Purple poop?

OK so here is some more potty talk that I just have to share! Of coarse this happens out in public!

Malik just finishing going poop on the toilet

Look mommy it is brown!

Yes Malik it is!

(Both of Malik's hands on the toilet seat with his head looking in)
Pretty soon I am going to have a purple poop!

He was so excited I didn't have the heart to tell him that probably wont happen for a very very long time!

Swimming!?!

So we have been very successful at potty training Malik. I am very proud of him! We have very funny conversations now that we never have had before as Malik learns new body parts. It goes something like this...

Mom do you have a p... (boy part)?

No, I am a girl! Girls don't have p...

Does Zia have a p...?

No, Zia is a girl too.

Does Daddy...?

And so on. It is pretty funny. He will go down the list of everyone that he knows and ask about them. When we are out (like at church) I often wonder what people in the other stalls think of us. Just yesterday Malik and I had this conversation.

Mommy I have to poop!

Oh ok!

(pause and then splash) Mommy I did it!

Ya! I heard!

Do you want to check?

Sure!

Wow, you did go poopoos in the potty!

Mommy look it SWIMMING!!! (it was a floater)

Oh people must get a kick out of us!

Daddy's work

This was a conversation I had with Malik today:

"Mommy, daddy and Zia are going to stay home!"
"Oh ya, Where are you going?"
"to work!"
"Oh really what are you going to do at work?"
"Drink CHOCOLATE MILK!" (so matter-of-faculty!)
"Is that what Daddy does when he is at work?"
"YAAAAH!"

Who doesn't want that!
