Photo Ball
Here is one of Stampin up's new die cuts. It is the Pop up ball. I had my scrapbook class and I decided to make this, it is pictures of Zia's 1st birthday. It turned out way better then I thought. The words describe Zia personality.

Scrapbook page
I am taking a scrapbooking class at a local craft store. I like it because it challenges me to think outside of the box. Most of the time I don't like the paper they give me so it has been a bigger challenge then I would have liked.
For this months challenge I was given this musical paper. I hated it so much that I cut it up and just used it in the corners to embellish it. I also used pictures of my nieces (I have to confess: I didn't think that I would like the end result) but now I wish I had taken pictures of my kids!

Purple poop?
OK so here is some more potty talk that I just have to share! Of coarse this happens out in public!
Malik just finishing going poop on the toilet
Look mommy it is brown!
Yes Malik it is!
(Both of Malik's hands on the toilet seat with his head looking in)
Pretty soon I am going to have a purple poop!
He was so excited I didn't have the heart to tell him that probably wont happen for a very very long time!

Fabulous Fish Tacos
So I haven't been very motivated lastly on crafts. But I was preparing one of our favorite dinners tonight I thought that I would share it with you all! Corom and I love this recipe. It is very tasty and easy. One of the things I love most about it is that I can prepare all of earlier in the day and when it comes diner time all I have to do is fry the fish and warm the tortillas! Enjoy!
Tarter Sauce
1 cup Mayonnaise
1 cup tomato, seeded and diced
2 T. fresh lime juice
1 jalapeno, seeded and diced
1 T. Dijon mustard
Puree tarter sauce in a blender until smooth; chill.
Cabbage slaw (I always double this!)
¼ cup white wine vinegar
2 T. olive oil
1 t. dry mustard
2 cups cabbage
½ cups minced fresh parsley
Salt and pepper to taste
Stir vinegar, oil and mustard together in a large bowl. Add cabbage and parsley and toss to coat. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Chill until ready to serve.
Fish
1 lb white fish (such as cod or tilapia) cut into 1” x 3” stripes
2 eggs, beaten
¼ cup whole milk
½ cup flour
2 cups panko bread crumbs (found in the Asian area of your grocery store)
½ cup vegetable oil
8 corn tortillas (6”)
Combine eggs and milk in a shallow dish. Place flour on a plate and panko on another plate. Dredge each fish in flour, tapping off excess. Dip in egg mixture, and then into panko crumbs, pressing to make crumbs adhere. Heat ½ cup oil to 360˚ in a sauté pan. Fry until golden brown and turn once, about 6 minutes total. Fish can be kept warm in an oven at 200˚.
Warm tortillas with a little oil in a pan.
Assemble tacos with fish, slaw and top with tarter sauce.

Early bird prize
Here is one of the prizes that will be given away at our Relief Society birthday social. This is one of the 4 versions like this that I made. It is a box like bag that holds 3 cards and envelopes in it. I thought is would be cute after the cards are gone to but treats in after the cards are gone!
I have been very busy preparing for this event that I haven't had much time to spend on crafts.
